Madonna Rae Bracken

Madonna Rae Bracken, 71 of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in her residence.  She was born in Vigo County on December 17, 1951 to Donald R. Englehart and Mary Frances Payne Englehart.

Madonna’s main hobby was coloring and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Madonna is survived by two sons, Vernon Bracken, Sr. and Donnie Bracken, Sr. (Stacy), as well as a sister, Theresa Liston.  She is also survived by her grandchildren; Joshua Bracken, Sr., Kevin Bracken (Brittney), Vernon Bracken, Jr., Kimberly Bracken, Austin Henderson, Allisha Bracken, Mercadies Irish (Zach), Donald Bracken, Jr., Gregory Bracken, Bruce Bracken, Dalton Bracken, Breanna Bracken, Raven Bracken, Emery Bracken, and Charlee Bracken, several great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Emery Bracken, Sr., daughter-in-law, Barbie Bracken, and her dog, Mr. T.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Steve Blaydes officiating.  Burial will follow in Dunlap Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.  The family would like to give a special thanks to her Hospice Nurse, Braylin, for the wonderful care given to Madonna.
