Georgetta Louise Favre

Georgetta Louise Favre, 61 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 in Union Hospital.  She was born in Terre Haute on March 29, 1962 to Edward Rogers and Artie May Couch Rogers.

Georgetta worked as a waitress at Cackleberries Restaurant for many years and she loved traveling to Florida and spending time with her grandkids.

Georgetta is survived by two daughters, Kandi Cochran (James) and Kathi McGee (Jason), and her mother, Artie Rogers.  She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jimmy Favre (Rileigh), Alexis Seeley, Billy Seeley, Abigail Favre, Austin Cochran, Briar McGee, and Rosie, as well a granddaughter on the way, Brynleigh Louise Favre, siblings; Harold Rogers (Karen), Jon Rogers (Kathy), Edward Rogers (Becky), Sue Blankenship (Ernie), and Kathy Clark (Chad), her fiancé' Gerald Waldon, and the father of her children, Joe Favre, as well as several nieces and nephews and her grand dogs.  She was preceded in death by her father Edward Rogers, two brothers, Roy Rogers and Jimmy Rogers, as well as a niece, Laura Mae Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating.  Burial will follow in Barnhart Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
